Construct Innovate Work Ready Graduate Programme (WRGP)

Construct Innovate is delighted to announce its fourth Seed Fund call.

The Seed Fund call aims to support industry-led, collaborative projects with the potential to scale their impact across the Irish construction sector. Through research and innovation, it enables organisations to address key challenges, seize emerging opportunities, and develop solutions that can deliver lasting benefits at both organisational and sectoral level.

  • Collaboration

    Project collaborators must include at least one RPO member (Research Performing Organisation) and at least one Associate/Patron Member. Maximum 2 applications accepted by a collaborative partnership. 

  • Funding amount

    Indicative funding available from Construct Innovate for individual proposals should be up to €50,000 (excluding 30% overhead).

    In exceptional circumstances, project applications seeking higher funding amounts from Construct Innovate will be considered.

    Latest Project End Date remains on 20th June 2027, irrespective of funding sought.

  • Industry contribution

    The minimum industry contribution is set at 20% (cash+in-kind) of the funding requested from Construct Innovate for this funding call.

  • Application time

    Applications open from 21st September 2026 until 12pm on 19th October 2026.  ​

  • Project Proposal

    Applications must be completed using “Construct Innovate Project Proposal – Application form 2026.docx” template and submitted in pdf format.

    Guidelines for the project proposals are included in the template document.

    Complete all sections in Calibri (body), font size 10, single line spacing, normal margins (as per the template), considering guideline notes in gray. Do not exceed page/word limits per section. Evaluators will not consider text that exceeds the word/page limit 

  • Apply

    The project application must be submitted to info@constructinnovate.ie  before 12pm on 19th Oct 2026. Applications received after this time/date will not be considered or evaluated. Ensure that the subject line of the email is: “Seed Fund 2026 Application”
