Centre Manager
He is a chartered Mechanical Engineer with 20 years’ national and international experience in construction. Colm oversees the overall strategic direction & development of the centre as well as its day-to-day operations and service provision. Prior to Construct Innovate, Colm has worked as an engineering consultant, main contractor, client representative and equipment supplier. Having seen the industry from most sides, he brings a deep understanding of the needs of stakeholders at all levels across the sector. Construct Innovate’s core aim is to support organisations across the construction industry on the transition towards a more modern, productive and sustainable sector. Colm joined Construct Innovate in 2023 to operationalise the Centre and build a portfolio of industry supports, alongside the development of its industry-focused research programme.
Research Programme Manager
Anmol is an accomplished networker with deep expertise in building collaborative bridges across innovation ecosystems. He has spearheaded industry-academia R&D initiatives and successfully managed EU grants previously as the R&D pillar lead for the Advanced Technologies in Manufacturing (ATIM) cluster. His global perspective is enriched by experiences in vibrant communities such as Healthcare.mn , a community of over 1900 healthcare entrepreneurs in the US and Venture Center, one of India’s largest deep tech business incubator.
As an engineer and BioInnovate fellow trained in needs-led innovation, Anmol has worked in R&D at early-stage startups and leading international companies including Luminate Medical and Medtronic. His unique blend of engineering acumen, commercialization know-how, grant writing, and innovation management, positions him to deliver high-impact solutions in complex environments.
Work Ready Graduate Programme Officer
Maura is the Placement Officer for the Work Ready Graduate Programme, responsible for coordinating the recruitment and onboarding of graduates into the scheme.
Her role involves working closely with member companies to secure suitable placements, managing all placement logistics, and ensuring that administrative and compliance requirements are fully met. Maura also provides continuous support throughout each placement, maintaining regular contact with both graduates and host organisations to ensure a positive and successful experience for all involved.
