Construct Innovate’s “Industry Day” event took place on Thursday, 24th of October in Clayton Hotel in Galway.

We were delighted to see over 80 professionals from across the construction industry and academia, as well as other build environment stakeholders joining us on the day to take part in networking sessions focused on Innovation & Testing, Digitalisation and Sustainability.

Keynote speech

Ross Griffin, founder of KOSMOS delivered a thought-provoking keynote speech: “Innovation, technology and sustainability, who cares?!“

His presentation left few takeaways:

why collect data more efficiently,
why use international standardisation,
how to introduce innovation, better and faster,
and how top-level leadership buy-in is critical to achieving meaningful progress on innovation, digitalisation and sustainability.
