What attracted you to WRGP, and how does the company you are placed at align with your career goals?
“Interestingly, I came across the Work Ready Graduate Programme through a recommendation by one of UCD’s programme directors, who shared the opportunity on LinkedIn. I applied and went through two interviews—one with the Construct Innovate and another with D/RES Properties.
What stood out to me about D/RES Properties was their strong focus on sustainability. They’re actively working on ESG initiatives and integrating off-grid, microgrid solutions into their developments, which aligns closely with my interests. Their commitment to understanding the embodied carbon impacts of their mostly timber-frame projects really resonated with me. I already had some experience in quantifying embodied carbon, so it felt like the perfect fit.“
