Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB) & Retrofit training rig visit to Alice Perry Engineering Building University of Galway
From Saturday 1st March 2025 until Friday 7th March 2025, the Laois Offaly Education and Training Board’s NZEB & Retrofitting mobile training unit will visit the University of Galway.
Over the course of the week, retrofit training and information sessions will be offered by trainers from the Mount Lucas National Construction Training Campus (LOETB). This will include retrofit training for secondary school students, NZEB Fundamental Awareness training, and various drop-in clinics for anyone interested in learning more about NZEB and retrofitting homes.
Spaces are still available on the NZEB Fundamental Awareness courses.
NZEB Fundamental Awareness is a one-day course, accredited by City & Guilds, that discusses the best ways to achieve energy efficient, high-quality NZEB buildings. The training is free and no prior experience is required. It is suitable for a range of individuals, including those working in the construction industry, as well as for anyone with an interest in NZEB, retrofitting and energy upgrades. CIRI points are available.
