The Big Bridge: Inspiring over 400 young engineers!
An exciting STEM for primary school children between the ages of 9-12 years was delivered as part of Science Week 11 – 15 November 2024. It featured construction of a 13m long, 4m high cable stayed bridge by 20 primary school classes from Galway in the heavy structures testing facility at Alice Perry Engineering Building at University of Galway.
